Dental Management of Medically Compromised Patients.

      Аннотация: As medical science continues to make advances that improve the quantity and quality of life for patients suffering from previously incurable diseases, dental practitioners are seeing an increasing number of these patients for routine care. It is difficult to create an appropriate dental treatment plan for patients who have pre-existing medical conditions. Dentists must take into account the sometimes life threating interactions between ongoing medical conditions and dental treatment.This book focuses on a variety of medical problems that dentists may encounter in their daily practice that require additional knowledge and care to avoid potential complications that would otherwise cause unnecessary morbidity and mortality.
