ENDODONTIC MISHAPS. Overcoming Challenges

      Аннотация: Endodontic mishaps or procedural accidents are those unfortunate occurrences that happen during treatment, some owing to inattention to detail, others totally unpredictable. Even though endodontic procedures have relatively high success rate compared with other disciplines, it is unwise to guarantee a perfect result even when procedures have been performed with the greatest of care. Procedural errors during endodontic therapy occur not only with students and beginners, but also with skilled and experienced clinicians in spite of taking all possible precautions. The operator should therefore have an in depth knowledge of the various mishaps associated with root canal therapy, understand their etiology and consequences, be aware of preventive measures and have thorough comprehension of their management. This book acknowledges the common Endodontic mishaps faced by the clinician and their management.
