The Thousand Faces of Night. A Feminist’s Voice

      Аннотация: Female voices are often found subdued to the patriarchy and several resonances are observed in anticipation to the deep rooted orthodoxy that, even today, perceives female existences subsidiary. Indian females, having identity distinct from that of others across the globe, confronts all together different socio-economic as well as political issues in day to day life. This book is an attempt to bring to surface the literary articulations of such resonances, especially, in the context of Indian culture. Gita Hariharn is one of the torch bearers as far as Indian feminism concerns. The book tactfully narrativizes Feminist's voice while analyzing The Thousand Faces of Night.
