Implant Abutment Connection. Learn the past, Work in the present & Create the future

      Аннотация: The introduction of dental implants to the market, varying restorative options have been successfully added for restoring the function and esthetics of both completely and partially edentulous patients. Accurate prosthodontic rehabilitation is the key factor for providing the long-term success and the survival of osseointegrated implants. Implant supported restorations can be fabricated with different techniques. The implant–abutment interface determines the lateral and rotational stability of the implant-abutment joint, which in turn determines the prosthetic stability of the implant- supported restoration. The choice of implant abutment interface should be based on consideration of various factors such as angulation of implant, position of implant, oral hygiene ,type of bone , forces acting on implant and prosthesis, soft tissue around implant body and amount of offset present.
