Аннотация: The Criminal Justice System in Nigeria is at a crossroad. It is supposed to be a constellation of institutions that promote Public Safety through progressive crime prevention and control measures. But the System has failed to prosecute offenders, thereby making the Nigerian Prisons a repository of untried prisoners who stay up to twenty years without conviction. This process has gone for close to 40 years and all reform efforts have failed. This book digs deep into the causes of the whole conundrum.
