Teledentistry - A Futuristic Realm of Dental Care.

      Аннотация: Teledentistry is one of the approach to meet the oral care needs of those who cannot seek care for various reasons and those who have little to no access to care. At present, teledentistry can offer the opportunity to screen and examine patients who have difficulty accessing dental services. Moreover, the use of electronic dental records is increasing in developed countries.It offers the possibility of improved communication between oral healthcare providers patients via email communication, wearable devices and specific apps for smartphones. This communication can improve patient compliance by monitoring oral hygiene practices and sending reminders about scheduled appointments.The current health crisis has led to the emergence of new practices,new tools, and an increased use of digital health.Oral health professionals have been particularly affected during this crisis, and the use of digital health, especially teledentistry, has been considered in many countries. Morever providing endodontic care during a pandemic should entail protocols that reduce the risk of viral transmission amongst patients,staff, and doctors.
