Design and Tools in Mathematics Education.

      Аннотация: Mathematics education is a constantly evolving field, with new approaches and techniques emerging to improve the teaching and learning of mathematical concepts. One of the key factors in effective mathematics education is the use of appropriate teaching materials and tools. This book is a comprehensive guide to the selection, design, and use of materials and tools in mathematics education. Materials and tools make mathematics more "concrete" and provide a concrete representation of abstract concepts. Indeed, as mathematics is an abstract science, mathematical objects are also abstract. Concrete representations of mathematical objects allow students to make sense of these abstract objects. The use of materials and tools must be considered in this perspective as an opportunity to provide a concrete representation of a mathematical concept.
