Аннотация: One of the obstacles to preventing and controlling Genital Wart(GW) in Iran is the lack of information about the frequency and prevalence of the disease. In stage 1, data on the number of patients were collected from the private offices of specialist doctors and government clinics in Bushehr city. In stages 2 and 3, data on the number of HPV analyzes in the laboratory, and the number of cases of GW in laser centers were also collected, respectively. In stage 4, a survey was conducted on the general population of the city using a questionnaire, data on the number of people with a history of GW. The cases of GW were calculated using the multiplier and Monte Carlo methods. The prevalence of GW was also estimated using survey analysis. Finally, 258, 195, 77, 48, 22 and 9 cases of GW were reported from general practitioners, dermatologists, gynecologists, midwives, urologists and infectious diseases Also, the prevalence of GW in men and women living in Bushehr city was 2% and 3.6% respectively. Knowledge of genital wart cases can help policymakers design prevention and control programs, as well as cancer screening and HPV vaccination.
