Phytopharmacology of Trillium govanianum.

      Аннотация: This book primarily emphasizes the phytochemistry and pharmacology of the Himalayan endemic medicinal plant Trillium govanianum Wall ex D.Don. The background of steroidal saponins is summarized in this book which is the principal phytochemical of Trillium govanianum and is primarily found in the rhizomes. The extraction and isolation of steroidal saponins have been summarized along with their structure elucidation. Chapter 1 is the introduction of Trillium govanianum and steroidal saponins. Chapter 2 contains extraction and fractionation of phytomolecules, isolation of steroidal saponins, phytochemical estimations, and surface active characteristics of steroidal saponins. Chapter 3 contains the bioactivities of the extract, fractions, and isolated steroidal saponins of Trillium govanianum have included such as anti-inflammatory, computational studies, pro-diabetic enzyme inhibition, and insecticidal activities.
