Аннотация: A pharmaceutical tablet must satisfy certain standards to claim it to be a quality drug. Quality control is very important and essential part for the products which directly linked to human health as like food industry and pharmaceutical industry. Pharmaceutical products are used to treat disease (illness) and maintain human health, so the quality of these products play a vital role for maintaining human health in safe condition and prevent from side effects and lethal effects of the drugs. Fever can be reduced using a variety of treatments. Fever has been treated with anti-pyretic medications. The quality control studies for some essential antipyretic drugs, such as paracetamol, ibuprofen, and the composition of paracetamol and ibuprofen, are presented in this article. For quality check there are some important parameters which checked on samples. Weight variation, friability, length, diameter, disintegration time, dissolution studies, assay are some important tests which performed on tablets. Dissolution study shows that in the given time how much quantity of drug released. Assay test shows the drug containing percentage in given sampled tablets.
