Аннотация: Reading, as one of the main methods of acquiring information and knowledge, is the most fundamental field of learning, and is the foundation of future academic success. Reading has two main components, which include decoding and understanding. Decoding is the mechanical aspect of converting printed letters into spoken language, and reading comprehension refers to the higher-level aspect of reading through which people infer meanings from language. All experts agree that the ultimate goal of reading is to acquire information, knowledge, pleasure, or other higher level benefits. However, some students with natural intelligence and appropriate educational opportunities have difficulty in reading. Dyslexia is a type of learning disorder that is characterized by an obvious defect in recognizing words correctly or fluently, as well as there may be an obvious defect in the ability to decode or spell words. In fact, in dyslexia, the child has problems in one or more domains of reading, spelling, and writing. Based on the diagnostic and statistical criteria of mental disorders, the prevalence rate of specific learning disorder in the field of reading & writing.
