Commencing BSE from the age of 20 and practicing it monthly is recommended for women. BSE stands as a crucial tool for the early detection and prevention of breast cancer. By engaging in regular self-examinations, women can develop a familiarity with their breast structure, swiftly identify any alterations, and promptly seek medical attention if needed. While BSE does not replace the necessity of routine mammograms or clinical breast exams, it constitutes a vital aspect of breast cancer prevention and awareness. Consistent screening and the early identification of breast cancer can significantly elevate the probability of successful treatment and mitigate mortality rates.
