Аннотация: Patient safety and quality of care are major concerns in nursing. Nurses play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients. However, there are various challenges that nurses face in maintaining patient safety and delivering high-quality care. Effective communication with patients and among healthcare professionals is essential for providing safe and coordinated care. However, miscommunication or lack of communication can lead to errors or delays in treatment.Nurses also face challenges related to staffing levels and workload. Shortages of nursing staff can result in increased workloads for nurses, leading to fatigue and burnout. When nurses are overworked, they may not be able to provide the necessary attention and care that patients require, which can compromise patient safety. Furthermore, maintaining a culture of safety is crucial in healthcare settings. Nurses need support from their organizations to report errors or near misses without fear of retribution. A blame-free environment encourages learning from mistakes and implementing strategies to prevent future errors.
