Interceptive Orthodontics.

      Аннотация: Interceptive orthodontics is meant to prevent the progression of malocclusion, poor facial and jaw development and constricted airways which may result into the temporary or permanent effect on the orofacial and the oro-nasal complex with resultant inadvertent effects not only on the facial esthetics but also on functions like mastication, deglutition and breathing. This book provides an overview of the more common principles in early intervention including the elimination of primary etiologic factors if possible, elimination of occlusal discrepancies such as unilateral, bilateral posterior crossbites, anterior crossbite.
