Аннотация: With the increasing population, Municipal Solid Waste is increasing day by day, hence increasing the demand of proper disposal mechanism as per the production of municipal solid waste. Currently, Lahore is producing 6500 Tons of Municipal Solid Waste, which is being controlled dumped, landfilled, composted or may be used for the production of RDF. Though the several disposal mechanism results in several different problems like the polluted under reserves, habitat for rodents, disturb atmosphere and habitat, and many other issues. The increasing waste and their disposal methods emphasizing the demand of selecting the best disposal method with less environmental impact. Life Cycle Assessment is a cradle to grave process, which study all the perspectives of municipal solid waste from its production to its disposal. SimaPro analyses the product from the production of raw materials of product to the breakdown of disposed product and its overall impacts. Book emphasizes for the opting of better practices for the waste recovery, segregation, recycling, reusing, etc., to reduce environmental impact.
