Exploring Landscapes of Porn, Mental Health and Climate Change. Should Consumption of Pornography be Taxed in Nigeria?

      Аннотация: Addiction to pornography fits within the paradigm of addiction and has some fundamental pathways to addiction to drugs and alcohol. Similar to how substance addicts start using numerous hard substances, porn users shift their attention towards more sexual fulfilment or dangerous sexual fulfilment to relieve tension, ignoring fun or important tasks. Also, sex workers battle addictions to drugs and alcohol. Overall, the negative repercussions of excessive pornography consumption extend beyond human well-being and have broader societal and environmental implications that must be addressed especially in Nigeria. This book first delves in-depth into the pre-historical perspective of porn and the history of porn in Nigeria. Through trend analysis, we show how pornography use in Nigeria has become a silent pandemic. Empirical analysis is conducted on the various effects of porn consumption on mental health and climate change in Nigeria. A mass model of pornography use and the curvature of the mind model is developed. Lastly, in the aspect of taxing pornography in Nigeria, this book provides a profound conclusion.
