Dental Operating Microscope in Endodontic Practice.

      Аннотация: The field of Endodontics has witnessed significant technological advances over the past few decades. One area of advancement is Endodontic visualization by Magnification. Magnification is the process of enlarging something only in appearance, not in physical size. The clinicians with improved vision of the operating field by magnification becomes capable of distinguishing finer details of the area of interest for proper diagnosis and treatment of various dental pathologies. Today, a small but growing number of clinicians are providing endodontic and endo-restorative treatments based on direct microscopic visualization of the pulp chamber and coronal portions of root canal space. This huge shift in clinical accuracy from Low magnification-Tactile-driven-Endodontics to Vision-based-Endodontics has brought revolution in the field of endodontics with more endodontists embracing the use of DOM in their daily clinical practice.
