Women Empowerment in Rural Local Landscape of Bangladesh.

      Аннотация: The book titled “Women Empowerment in Rural Local Landscape of Bangladesh” talks about the socio-economic status of women and the obstacles to women’s representation in the rural local governments (UPs) in Bangladesh. It also highlights some effective measures to get better the situation. Modern society cannot survive without women’s development. The role of women in leadership has been a point of contention at the local level. Furthermore, it plays an important role in decision-making, education, jobs, politics, and other fields. Besides, this analysis is a contribution to the fight for equal rights of women’s involvement in local government. It also makes sure women's rights, their participation in this particular sphere and improving women's conditions, equal participation in all spheres of life and also helps to spread female awareness in the political arena.
