Аннотация: The book presents the results of a dissertation on the inclusion of students with disabilities in higher education in a private institution in the Centre-West of Minas Gerais. The research analysed issues related to inclusion in higher education; policies and practices for social inclusion; teaching in higher education and the inclusion of students with disabilities; pedagogical actions and teaching methodologies aimed at students with disabilities; legislation and the performance of the university in the 21st century. In the scope of the research, the following specific objectives are pointed out: to understand the public policy of inclusion for Higher Education in the specialised literature and legislation; and to identify the positive and negative aspects of the inclusion policy of the researched institution in view of the construction of didactic strategies by teachers.
