This book was borne out of the author’s passion and experience in ministering to two children (Elo and Peter) who had disabilities in the city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In this book, the author presents some probing questions and conceptual clarifications of disability in a practical, comprehensive and compelling manner. She extensively enunciates some critical African perspectives on the subject of disability, while looking at the types, causes and prevention of disabilities and other categories of disorders.
