      Аннотация: For the past decades ,training and development programmes were of less significance.As a result of a decrease in productivity as well as high rates of labour turnover ,organisations embarked on Training and Development programmes to upgrade the skills of the employees as well as motivating them.Currently training and development programmes are prevalent in most of the organisations and this has resulted in increasing of the perfomance of the employees as well as increasing Productivity.This book offers an insight to Educational institutions as organisationjs on how Training and development programs offered to lecturers enhence the achievement of organisational perfomance.Training of lecturers impoves their perfomance and this increases the students pass rate.Training and Development programmes equip Lecturers with adequate and relevant skills.Thus training of human resources enable the organisation to achieve the distinctive competence.
