Аннотация: Salinity is an increasing problem in many irrigated, arid and semi-arid areas of the world where rainfall is insufficient to leach salts from the root zone, and it is a significant factor in reducing growth and crop productivity. Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are indigenous to soil and plant rhizosphere. These microorganisms are the potential tools for sustainable agriculture. They enhance the growth of a root system and even of an entire plant and often control certain plant pathogens. Rhizosphere colonization is also considered to be a crucial step in the application of microorganisms for beneficial purposes such as biofertilization, phytostimulation, biocontrol.
Ключевые слова: barley, inoculation, PGPR, Salinity, salt stress, Wheat, protein pattern of cereals, Biocontrol agents.

Molecular Characterization of Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria. ‘Brevibacillus sp.strain JBT19B’.
1905 г.,  88 стр.,  мягкий переплет
Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are the rhizosphere bacteria that can enhance plant growth by a wide variety of mechanisms. PGPR strains were isolated from the rhizosphere soils of rice. The isolates were tested for their plant growth promoting (PGP) traits, seed germination ability, extra cellular enzyme production, salt and...

Co-inoculation of Rhizobium leguminosarum, Azotobacter chroococcum, Azospirillum brasilense, Pseudomonas fluorescens and Bacillus spp. enhances their population synergistically in soil which may leads to development in root nodules. In addition they also increase available nutrients (N, P, K, and Fe) to plants and help in the uptake of nutrients...
