The purpose and goal of creating Special Economic Zone is to procure foreign exchange by increasing exports.It helps to maintain exchange rate stability in the developing country. In addition to this, Special Economic Zones increases the foreign capital and helps the developing countries to overcome their balance of Payment deficit. The primary objective of Special Economic Zones is to generate employment opportunities by providing well developed factory accommodation with many common amenities and world class infrastructural facilities to industrial units.
