Аннотация: This book fast food consumption in the age of globalization has attempted to explore how fast food has become a global food culture due to the activities of multinational and transnational companies, development in communication, transport and movement of people. Globalization has impacted on fast food consumption especially among the youths who are mostly students and are the target of large global food chain corporations. Using relevant theories, it gives an insight of how global forces interact with the local to affect food cultures. It explains the reasons behind the popularity of fast food among students, its rate of consumption and students choice of fast food.
