      Аннотация: Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) is an important vegetable crop of Malvaceae family, which supplies higher nutrition (carbohydrates, fats, protein, minerals and vitamins) in our diet. It is a fast growing annual which has captured a prominent position among the vegetables. It is grown practically for its immature fruits which are eaten as raw as well as cooked vegetable. Dried seeds are nutritious food. It contains upto 20% protein.Integrated nutrient management plays an important role in improve crop yield and quality of okra. Organic manures like vermicompost helps in escape from the harmful effects of chemical fertilizers and supply micronutrients as well as organic matter. It improves the soil physical, chemical and biological conditions.Biogen is plant growth stimulator which helps the root zone from unwanted gases suffocation, keep roots healthy and fresh and works in a wide range of temperature and pH of soil and water. It can be applied after land preparation in the form of dust @ 1kg/acre and for orchards @ 2-3 g/plant ones in six month. I hope that readers shall find this book much useful for their studies and further research.
