      Аннотация: Image processing is a rapidly growing area of computer science. Digital image processing is concerned primarily with extracting useful information from images and has a variety of applications in the area of scientific, medical, satellite, fingerprints and face recognition. An image may be of poor quality as it contains noisy elements that might occur during image capture, transmission, processing or acquisition. There are many existing enhancement techniques that make use of image filters for noise removal and edge enhancement and finally transforming them to good quality image. This book is focusing on two filters other than the existing one, helping in enhancing old images.
