      Аннотация: This book on The Impact of Information and Communication Technologies on the Social Interaction of the Elderly, from Africentric perspective demonstrates that the emerging demographic change towards an ageing population is introducing drastic changes in our society. We therefore need to find ways to motivate and assist elderly people to stay active for longer in the labour market in other to prevent social isolation and promote societal inclusion and finally to help them stay independent for as long as possible. This population shift may have profound effects on the economy and social life of a nation Cameroon. Also, it does not seem possible, and it is certainly not desirable that this growing population of older people will be withdrawn from active participation in social and economic activities.
