Аннотация: Digital communication plays a significant role in present-day scenarios, there is no hesitation as it is part of our personal lives, corporate world, and education. Digital communication is a mode of sending information electronically between sources. Digital Communication is a core subject for all Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) students at the undergraduate level. This book adopts an approach best suited at the undergraduate level. Concepts are explained thoroughly using simple and lucid language; mathematical analysis used wherever necessary and the results and their implications are elucidated clearly. This book offers on an introductory survey of the conceptual development of the subject. It provides simple and lucid presentations of the essential principles, formulae, and definitions of Digital Communications. Digital communication systems is a comprehensive textbook, focusing on the core principles of digital communications and relating theory to practice. Starting with the background of Fourier analysis, probability theory, and stochastic processes to analyze random signals, the book covers sampling theory, pulse-amplitude modulation, pulse-code modulation.
