Аннотация: The book talks about young children dwelling in the urban slums of Delhi. Despite living in the metropolitan hub, young children are often sick with many fatal diseases and one of them is Acute Respiratory tract Infection which is also commonly known as ARI. The majority of under-five children severely get sick with lower respiratory tract infections like Pneumonia or bronchitis, however, due to the ignorance of the caretakers, there is a huge delay in health-seeking behavior. This led to high mortality and morbidity among children which could have been avoided if care had been sought on time or the onset of the symptoms. Therefore, this book highlights the reason behind the high death rate among the under-five children who are sick with ALRI.
