      Аннотация: In this world of marketing and packaging many times innocent consumers are cheater by false promises and high claims by the manufacturers. It is the duty of the consumers to inquire about the product in depth so that they have not to repent in future. This research aims to develop financial awareness of people. The consumers have to judge judiciously about the price, warranty, guarantee, quality and durability of the product. Many times tall claims in the advertisements are found hollow and consumers have also problems in replacing the damaged items in guarantee period. Consumers many times don’t bother to take receipt after their purchase. It makes them unable to claim in case of damaged. Basic awareness of consumer right is necessary in this age of false pomp and show. Consumers can also take the help of consumer court which is established to protect the rights of consumers against cheating and injustice. This book brings out all these issues and need of public awareness about it.
