      Аннотация: MRI has been used to image the human body for half a century.Today it is one of the most widely used imaging technologies in medicine.The images can be acquired in real time, thus providing instantaneous visual guidance for many interventional procedures. MRI has a major role in diagnosing lesions of craniofacial region that are difficult to diagnose clinically. MRI has a promising future in dentistry due to the multifarious applications.The results that have been achieved indicates the possibility to employ techniques of MRI in dentistry.Hence , it is always a superior modality of choice for oral and maxillofacial region.
