Аннотация: Ultrasonics in dentistry have been used since 1900 and has proved to be a boon the industry. Although many uses of ultrasonics have been imployed but in endodontics, it has changed the aspect in a drastic manner.Root canal preparation, retrograde filling, irrigation systems, etc have proved to be more effective and efficient with the use of ultrasonics. It is minimally invasive and maximally efficient. It provides better visualization, conservative approach with enhanced disinfection.It should be used in modern day endodontic practice as it has great potential in almost every aspect of dentistry.
